About
The idea.
SUNDAY is an independent photographic magazine. Each issue is dedicated to a single place — a city, a coastline, a village — and stays there long enough to notice.
Philosophy
There are no guides. No reviews. No advertisements. Only photography, thoughtful sequencing, and quiet storytelling.
We believe places reveal themselves slowly. In the light before a shop opens. In the way a stranger sits at a table. In the way a wall holds shadow at four o'clock in the afternoon.
SUNDAY is made for anyone who has ever stood in an unfamiliar street and felt time move differently.
Contributors are selected through an editorial application process.
The object
Selected photographs are released as museum-quality Fine Art prints. Printed editions are available for selected Issues. Every frame is handcrafted in Norway from solid wood, made specifically for the photograph it holds.
"One place. One story. Many moments."
